The History of USA

Union Springs Academy, founded in 1921, boasts a rich legacy of education and innovation in the Finger Lakes region of New York. Established on the grounds of a former Quaker school, its mission began with 96 students and a commitment to academic excellence, leadership development, and service.

Over the decades, the academy has become a place where students gain practical skills through working on the academy’s farm and engaging in entrepreneurial industries. They also participated in a variety of music, sports, and leadership programs that shaped their personal, professional, and spiritual growth.

Throughout its history, Union Springs Academy expanded its facilities, broadened its academic offerings, and welcomed a global student body, representing cultures from around the world. The academy’s achievements include the construction of key buildings like Sunset Hall and Newmyer Hall, the establishment of student-run industries, and global mission-focused trips that fostered leadership, service, and innovation.

Supported by a dedicated alumni network, Union Springs Academy has navigated challenges while preserving its core mission. Now, over a century since its founding, the academy remains committed to inspiring young minds through a blend of academic rigor, entrepreneurial spirit, and global leadership, all within a nurturing environment rooted in Christian values.
